Orkney

Done St Kilda,how about Orkney?

We are hoping to run a trip to the Orkneys next year, so this May we are off to have a look at the cruising highlights.  Orkney has great potential as a destination for sailors,though you have to be on your toes with the navigation as strong tides have to be allowed for when planning your routes.

We hope to offer a 14 night sailing holiday this time next year or even later this year if there is any interest....It's about time we had that long awaited bbq summer!

Safely delivered to Arisaig

We spent Easter with some guests sailing from the Clyde to Arisaig, see Facebook for a brief report and some pictures. A video from the Go Pro head cam is on YouTube. Thanks goes to  my son George for editing  it.

We had really great weather most of the way managing to get around the Mull of Kintyre and Ardnamurchan in calm conditions.

The 2010 Season. It's Here!

Well, almost.

Gina is looking good, she's had all her old paint taken off and has been repainted and lots of TLC. It has been a labour of love, with all the cold weather we've been having. Snow at sea level on the Clyde is very unusual, but we have had plenty this winter. Temperatures down to - 17  have made life tough for outdoor work, but we've done it. The past week has been glorious, warm and sunny during the day, and that's the way we are hoping it stays.

So, book soon, we are looking forward to some wonderful sailing!
